It's not easy to change a battery in one of these cars, if you have the longer, 88 AH version. But, it can be done without removing the condenser fan. I can't explain how, other than to say you have to hold it at a certain angle. It helps to have more than one person.
Frankly, these cars are fine with the shorter 66AH battery and it is easier to replace.
