I'll take a stab at it....
I recently saw a nice looking complete (If I recall correctly) '73 or '74 914 2.0 (less engine) in an interesting decent light green metallic on CL for $3.5k or so. I think that's a good price for a fairly complete (less engine) low rust tub with decent paint & interior.
I'd guess, that a stripped tub, less engine, trans, and some other bits, (but otherwise solid) should fetch around $2k or so.
