You have great taste and instincts MJ. Both color combo's and interior schemes will look great and period correct.
I love silver. My favorite early porsche color for it's classiness, and the fact that it is the official German Racing color. It is also timeless.
But the Orange on the other hand, is so dated that it's cool again. Something you don't see every day, and so period correct.
Tough call.
BTW, does anyone else think "Painting the Free Targa" sounds like an early '70's Folk Ballad by the band "America" ???
