Please do not part company with the Leica, it would be the equivalent of getting rid of a Longhood in the 80's. I know its tough to pay for the processing but the pure image quality will never be bettered regardless of chip size.
For work I use a 5D MK II but if I want to make images for me, I use the M2 with 35 1.4. Try to find a digital system get close to that quality in low light. I know the Canon chip with both the pro sumer Zeiss lenses and even Panavision primes can't.
In spite of high costs Leica glass is still the best. Heres mine, it just feels great.
