His 'plan' includes rent caps and essentially seizing any building not currently in use and using it for housing. The responsible and constitutional approach to his goals would be offering tax incentives to landlords offering properties below $X/sqft.
That said, I read somewhere that he's a Viet Nam vet, door gunner with 3 bronze stars which bought him at least a few minutes of my consideration.
