I am not sure if your friend is speaking about my car. I do not know what you mean by "upfront" Everyone that has called me about my car has been told that the car was repainted by the previous owner who is Porsche mechanic and works at a porsche dealership. The car was repainted to a very high level of workmanship by the same bodyshop who performs all the paint work for the Porsche dealership. The car was taken apart and all new seals, windows, windshield, doors, fenders etc. were installed. The origianl color was an ugly goldish color. I apologize to your friend if there was a missunderstanding.
I have sold several of my past porsches here and two 993 on rennlist ("cactus" guard red 993 and Brendan 993 polar silver 993) and have never had an issue. Actually, they still keep in touch to tell me how great their cars have been.
I will include the painted once before statement on the post. I really did not think it was SO important to do so.
