Boat Questions
OK, I have received the go ahead to get another boat as long as I sell my current boat. The current boat is a 18.5 Carolina Skiff and I will hopefully be able to sell her within a few months.
So, I am looking for boat advice and here is my list of desires...
- Must be a V-hull. No more getting pounded for me and my wife.
- I want a shallow draft Bay Boat. One that is good in shallow waters (not super skinny but shallow) and can handle 2-3 foot seas if I decide to take her down to Mexico Beach.
I am thinking it has to be 21 feet long....is this acceptable for the seas I am describing? Are there any suggestions for gunnell heights or basically whatever advice one can give that would be groovy.
