Hmmm, that's interesting. The reviews I've read have been good, but I admit the reviews are usually on dual sport/motard web sites. The motards seem ill-suited for freeway use, but around town, they're supposedly better. Right now, the biggest detraction to the supermoto bikes is price. Used prices are higher than a standard bike.
