You need a little tool in the toolkit. Open the trunk, remove side carpeting and look at the side of the lamp. You should see headlight adjusting screws behind rubber flaps and beside those is where the tool inserts. Turn the tool to release the entire headlight. slide it out carefully as it runs on a plastic guide ramp. Carefull on reinsertion along the rails.
