76 Turbo Carrera
I have been noticing, for some time now, the following ad...this one was on Samba, but I have seen it elsewhere. From the ads and pictures I've seen it seems quite well sorted albeit modified and upgraded. Other than seeing the ads on various forums, I have no affiliation.
1976 Porsche 930 S Price: 45,000
I bought this little gem 21 years ago. I am the 2nd owner and I have all papers from day one.(from show room)Mileage 74902; repainted orig. color "Peru Red" (METALIC COPPER) cost 10k. Orig. Blk. interior perfect condition. Boost gage, 930s steering wheel. New rebuilt to strict requirements; engine less than 1000 miles. 350HP+twin plug intercooled 3.2L SC spec. cams, ported (SS exhaust/wastgate/muffler) 17" wheels new "Z" rated tires. Serious inquires only call 342 4759
So a couple of questions:
1. Is the 930 S a factory designation?
2. There were, according to most sources, about 500 or so cars imported, so they don't come up for sale very often. Is the above car priced appropriately.
3. Regarding the model year 1976, are stock cars or modified cars better in terms of desirability?
