Modded early 3.0 930s are normally worth less than stock. I wouldn't pay even close to that money for it personally. He probably is trying to get every dollar he spent back at that price, and with mods it just doesn't happen...
Stock early 930s are quite rare, however one just went on ebay with 70,000 miles and a chipped paint job for like $15,000 or something crazy low. It was a driver.
