Anybody have experience with Post-Vasectomy Pain Syndrome?
I am guessing I may have "Post-Vasectomy Pain Syndrome"
Vasectomy was 6 years ago, I have been having pain/discomfort for the past year (started Nov. 12th last year). Easter weekend it was bad enough I decided to go to Urgent Care. They sent me to ER to check for torsion. Unltrasound did not show torsion, they told me I had epididymitis and to see my Urologist. My Urologist is highly respected and is said to be the best in the area. He stated I did not have epididymitis but rather had granulomas at the end of the tubes where he did the snip. I am still having pain and have visited him occasionally since. At a recent visit he said the granulomas are gone and he checked for a hernia. He was unable to tell for certain if I had a hernia (I wanted to tell him he forgot his watch) so he sent me for a CT scan. Results are no hernia. He is now recommending I see a pain management Doc. I have never had experience with a pain management Doc. Kinda wishing it was a hernia, easy in and done as others here have recently proven. Any thoughts or similar experiences?
