been reading up on these garrett cartridges. aka 540 grain garrett hammerheads for the 45/70 guide guns.
these guys are earning a very good name for dangerous game rounds, including .44 magnum rounds capable of effectively stopping charging bear attacks.
oh and buy the way, when i stated earlier about shot placement and the guy here who lit off (3) .300 win mag rds until our local black bear record expired........................ and once again(as always rudely interrupted by the french freakazoid king bwana dangerous game slayer)............................
well go to youtube for some REAL REALITY POO involving shooting bears with BIG BORE ROUNDS and how quite a few of them pesky bears just dont read or write or believe in french fairy tales about dying when ya want them to. or when you tell them to, in a sexy french voice.
i mean dead on perfect textbook breadbasket or shoulder shots................and they just keep on trucking like a UP locomotive. un-freeking real animals.
