Haven't been "cut", but I did have epididymitis when I was a young guy. I went to a urologist with a scarry hair do and a wild look in his eyes who wanted to cut everything right away. That scared the hell out of me, and I went for a second opinion. The second urologist was a lot less scarry and his solution was less scarry too. He told me there wasn't any reason to start cutting anything, and that he had Navy Seals come all the time after parachuting practice with epididymitis. His solution was to draw a very hot bath once or twice a day and soak them things in it. It increased the blood flow in the area and led to healing. It worked very well. I don't know if it will help you, but if the symptoms are the same, maybe the treatment will help.
