Much smoother and quieter is most likely a result of a better Part Throttle Ignition tune. The cars from the factory do not run best ignition in part throttle, tuning this section/area of the maps for best/max torque can really help these cars run smoother. My bet is that as you spend more time driving the car you will notice improvements in areas such as take-off and returning to idle. Also see how it behaves in stop and go traffic when your clutch in clutch out below 2500RPMs.

WOT power is nice but street cars really don't run at WOT much so tuning PartThrottle is really where you want an expert to concentrate when building/tuning chips for these cars. Steve knows this area well.
