The easy way to learn about the Protomotion chip and your car is to put the car on a dyno and look at hp, torque and (maybe most importantly) the air/fuel ratio through the rpms to see how it's managing the engine. Then do the same with the Steve Wong chip.
The great thing about Steve's chips is the relentless R&D he keeps putting into the programs for them -- and the custom nature of a chip that's programmed to match your car's specific components. The Protomotion chip might be a great match to your engine and exhaust, or it might not. Odds are, they don't customize them like Steve can.
