Well, it's all over and once again, I volunteered for half the time and enjoyed the other half. The honored marques was Chevrolet this year, but I don't have many chevy pics, they just don't do IT for me

At one point while getting all of the car clubs to their designated areas, there were nearly a dozen 360's in a row and the sound was insane, I thought windshields were going to start shattering.
There were also a lot of 356's this year and probably as many E-types as there were Chevys.
Took a few test drives from the demo teams. The 475hp new XJ is not only incredibly nicely appointed on the interior and packed full of awesome gadgetry, it's a beast and handles quite nicely for a LWB. I'm pretty much in love with the car and in a few years when they're steady on the used market, I'll probably pick one up.
I also took the 'all new, redesigned' Cayenne S out. The interior is a lot like the Panamera, but after the XJ, the Cayenne felt a little bland and underpowered.
BMW......well, the X5 diesel certainly gets great mileage, but the interior was just disappointing. It felt very cheap and the diesel felt surprisingly anemic for a modern German diesel.
And the pics
(This was a freebie with the Porsche test drive)

This wasn't actually a part of the Concours, but it was in the VIP parking lot and got my attention

AND, it's for sale if any one is interested....

more pics to come
