I have been driving lifted Jeeps (and ice racing on Georgetown Lake) for decades and the tires are fine. The drivers, like ALL cars on the road, is the issue.

I think you may have confused Jeepers and real 4WD truck owners with contractors in pretty F250s and Silverados, who definitely don't ever run the kind of treads I am sure are found on your vehicle. At least that's what we see up here in Boulder County and off in the ditch on hwys 119 and 287. It's not the off road community who is to blame. It's the street guys. And you're right, they do drive like **** too...
