My wife played in a folk group many years ago- like in the 70's. She has not played guitar in years, but had a ball at a recent reunion with the group.
I was thinking of picking up a decent guitar for her as a gift.
Her guitar died a horrible crushing death in a move 20 years ago.
I am looking for a warm sounding acoustic- but I know diddle about guitars.
Will spend up to a $1000 or so. I am not looking for a collectable- this will get used, but a good instrument.
I was looking at one of the Yamaha's- looked ok, but thought I would ask for guidance.
Any ideas from the braintrust here?
