Actually I have a friend who is rather well to do and has a few very nice suits. All tailor made and a couple of them were a tad over US$5000. Well on a business trip to Turkey he had a local street vendor make him a suit that cost him US$300. It took four days to make and is made by the one guy. It is an excellent suit. He has had it for about three years now and it's still going strong.
There are some amazingly talented people in these poorer countries.
