No, not green, and you are wrong.
If it was a missile, it would be faster.
If it was a missile, your "engine flame" would be there the whole time, not just part of it.
If it was a missile, it would be a lot faster. (leading to...)
If it was a missile, people would have reported a sonic boom.
If it was a missile, there would have been sightings of a vertical contrail reported by airline pilots in the area, not to mention any number of passengers with a window seat.
If it was a missile, there wouldn't have been another contrail, in the same place, at the same time, the next day.
If it was a missile, there wouldn't be vortices in the contrail. You can clearly see twin vortices in the video and they were specificly mentioned by the news dude in the helicopter. Vortices only happens if there is a wing creating lift, missile shots don't as there are no such vortices due to a lack of aerodynamic lift.
If it was a missile, there would be more photos/video of it, (It was in view of, by a conservative estimate, 1
million video cameras.) It wasn't, because at every other angle except straight on, it looked like what it was, a contrail from a jet.
Watch this video:
Mysterious missile launched off California coast?
It it was a missile, the top of the contrail would be brighter (:10 to about :40 sec mark), illuminated by the engine plume.
It it was a missile, the contrail would be persistent, but it isn't (~:50 sec in the video, as it continues to approach the camera)
And anyone who thinks that was fired by a rogue state, put down the crack pipe. China wouldn't do it, (even if they could, which is in doubt) because the have no need. China loved taking our money to buy their crap, plus we already know they have ICBMs. Plus, the whole point of ICBMs is the "I" part. They don't need to get 30 miles off the coast, if they can hit anywhere in the world from China. Same goes for Russia.
Best Korea doesn't have the ability. Full stop.
It was an airplane. As was stated, most likely as I stated,
US Airways flight 808 from Hawaii to Phoenix.
