Just because people are quirky does'nt mean they can't do their jobs in a safe and professional manner. Jeez...I hope the electrician who just re-wired my house does'nt post some 'off the wall' stuff on a car forum. My house might burn down.

-A very, very wise woman who posts over at Rennlist once told me in a PM that many of the people who post on these web forums are either very young, have little education, or have never been outside of the town they grew up in. I tend to believe that is the case here.
They can run me down all they want; Not to beat my own drum too hard, but I was a 727 captain at age 33 and a 747 captain at 39. I've had about 50 checkrides in my career in aviation, and I've failed exactly one, and that one was my fault. I kind of think that I've proven my self in aviation, so some kid or redneck criticizing me here is kind of like like the water I pour on my 928 when I wash it- it beads, rolls off....then works its way into the dirt where it belongs.
