I've had the same thing happen while at a parking lot. Dad and his young son about 8 comes out of the restaraunt and the kid comes over to the car.
The dad follows behind him telling him the difference between the P-car and his camaro he has at home. The kid listens while I tell him a little about the car and was all excited to see the engine in the rear.
The gal who works in my office has a son about 16 and since I started talking to him about the P-car, he became interested. Well, last week I did the SC Motorsports DE and hung a pic on the office wall of the car and me at the track.
Yesterday he saw the pic of the car for the first time and said it was "way cool". Now, he and a couple of his friends want to go to the next Porsche event at Road Atlanta.
I like the idea of doing this because it will give him a chance to see what P-cars are made of plus he knows you don't have to do any mods to get them on the track. Maybe I've started something - trying to get him and his friends to do a autocross.
