The rest of the story with EMI was that they had a "delete sale" every year at the factory and my friends and I hauled out thousands of surplus CDs and albums over the years at a buck or two each. I still have probably a hundred albums that I've never heard yet that I couldn't pass up. Some Beatles, all the dozens of Beach Boys recordings, all the EMI/Capitol and satellite company artists. So for instance I have at least three different versions of Dolby's Science tune due to errors in Master Tape selection. All gone now, as EMI outsourced our factory to some contract company in Indiana a couple years ago. A lot of people out of work even still from that closing. To bring this to topic, of course we have all the Moto Music collections that Capitol marketed too, some in real leather folders !
