With a little kid like that, if your little voice is saying "maybe we should go to the hospital," get in the car. I tend to stick with the clear liquids until the puking is over, then start the bland diet. Wash your hands with soap and water a lot, wash the kids' clothes, do the bedding often, with bleach.
Breaks your damn heart when they are sick like that.
