I have not seen the car and have no knowledge of it or the seller. I agree that an unwillingness to show the car prior to auction closing is suspect, especially with the way he has responded to questions. From the description and photos, it sounds like the seller did make the car available in some way, but that the hard top and spare tire shown in the photos were subsequently stolen. Could be that this claimed theft is causing the seller to restrict access to the car, but it does seem more than a little bit odd.
