I looked at the components in PET. Everything looks just different enough to make this a formidable project. The mounting looks different and the needed clearance for the assembly looks like you'd need to do some sheet metal work in the steering rack area. Then there's that darn power steering pump and lines with reservoir to consider.
You should look at the Boxster PS rack if you're going to go to that much trouble. Just a thought. It looks a trifle smaller.
