I also looked into installing power steering years ago but was put off by the expense and complication it would bring to my life. Ultimatlely I was able to accomplish the same results by reducing my caster to < 3 degrees and bringing my camber to factory stock spec ( 0 degrees ).
Compared to a power steering install, tweeking with the alignment makes infinitely more sense.
