My guess with Ford it has somethng to do with the numbers built. Also consumer rating with regrads to realabilty and maintence costs?
Rolls Royce and Bentleys have apx 50% depreciation in the first year. Why th eprice is so expensive that if you can afford a used one you can afford a new one. So the price will drop to where the guy who can't quite buy the new one can afford the slightly used one. Also one would think that people of means would keep up the maintence on the car, that is not so, they figure why even bother I can go buy a new one in the next year or two.
