in college i had the opp to meet with Ivan Stewart. very cool man. we picked him up at the airport, when he was the MC at my college's MINI BAJA competition. my team's captain had a "bromance" with him and painted our car Stewart's signature colors. i told him it would come off like we are sucking butt, and i was right.
he asked, "who chose the colors?
my friend pointed at team captain and said, "huh, your biggest fan over there"
ivan replied, "ok, i wont turn my back on him.."
team captain was mildly amused.
cool man, and his race stories were amazing. i did ask how he pissed on his solo races..he worked the very same story into his opening MC speech.

btw, my team came in 16th overall. team captain was a mech eng..and the 3 of us were civil eng. the mech eng dept got egg on their face. they didnt support our team and dumped all their resources into a full ME team...ironically HALLIBURTON funded our team. (i still have my halliburton jumpsuit that my wife. loooovvesss). the full ME team built a turd...it broke rolling out of the garage, to get into the race..hahahahah.
