I read the episode guides for the first two shows. It appears it will suck more than I thought. They are just re-doing the same things the UK version did- car chased by helicopter, car chasing skiers, Lamborghinis, and they are promoting the hosts too much. "Rutlidge and Adam try to beat Tanner at a drifting challenge by cheating" or something like that. At least the UK versions appeared to be spontaneous... 
At least Tanner Foust has some sort of rally/ice racing/time attack driving experience.
The only reason I am watching the premier is to see Buzz Aldrin drive whatever the "reasonably priced car" is.
