Buy it. It's faster (you actually get to drive on the track, instead of wrenching every weekend), it's cheaper (usually 50% or less what the POs are into it for), and it saves tremendous time (buy a car that's been raced by someone decent for a couple of years - the development time is actually VERY valuable).
