First I think it is an awesome acheivement and you should be proud. But on the other hand...
My sister was honor society and mostly A's throughout high school. Never did well in college.
I dropped out of high school in 10th grade. Solid C student before then. Ended up getting GED and going to night school and now have a masters in engineering.
Moral of the story? Dont waste too much energy when it doesnt matter and burn out early. If you are going to peak, make sure it is in college. Hopefully your kids can stay focused the entire time.
Plus if my sister got a B my Mom was disappointed. If I got a B my Mom was soooo proud.
