Bump for a good fix. My oil pressure gauge was bouncing widly in the upper range, between 3 and 5. It was less bouncy at idle. Only one connection to the sender on my '80 SC. Disconnected it, sprayed contact cleaner on the male and female ends, tightened the female end gently with some pliers and filled it with dielectric grease for good measure -- reconnected and no more bouncing.
