I think you just ought to run a new line from the NID to your router location. CAT5 is cheap, works well, just tell the tele guy you already have the line run and just want him to help you pin out the connection on the female end and I'm sure he'll be happy to punch it down properly for whichever pair color is going to be used at the NID. Also ask if he has any of the good whole house DSL filters - or go buy one at a home store. They install at the NID and give you a dedicated DSL connect and provides the filter connection for the rest of the line.
