Quick question...

Took the Porsche for a little run Friday night( haven't driven it at night previously other than half mile down the road to the corner store)...nice little ride about 25 miles through deserted winding back roads to a buddies house. Everything went fine until about halfway there...I was making a right turn...I noticed that both of the indicator arrows were flashing(like they would if you had the hazard lights on)...I though this odd so I pulled over and checked and only the right exterior lights were flashing...figured oh well just a phantom no problem...got back in the car and made about another mile and noticed...the green engine light just starting to flicker...then the red light started to flicker(I was beginning to regret the deserted backroad choice...especially when I noticed I had forgotten to bring my phone)...I pulled over and figured ok I must have slung the belt...no such luck. I checked everything ove and found nothing...got back in and fired her up...no warning lights...drove the rest of the way there with no further problems. On the way back no problems until I was pulling into my drive...had the right blinker on and noticed both turn indicators flashing again...pulled in and sat there idling for about three minutes and sure enough the came the warning lights...I killed the engine for about thirty seconds and cranked it back up no lights...drove back around the block with no problems...now I know one light is the generator light and the other is the temp light(don't remember from the manual which was which) but the gen. is freshly rebuilt(and I checked it with my meters...it doing its generating thing) and I have a new sealed battery...is this something anyone has seen before? Just a bad wire somewhere? I'm considering rewiring the entire car(that ought to take all of a weekend...I love old cars without all the computer crap) but I figured I'd ask here to see if anyone else has seen this and maybe had a fix quicker than replacing the entire dozen wires in the car....

Thanks!!
