It's not IFS at all, not even in the JK's. And the only thing the leafs are better at that the coil springs is using them as ramps to slide up and down nasty terrain. The coils flex MUCH better allowing far better articulation (with sway bars disco'd). The only downside is if you flex too much, the coils fall out!

I had a lifted YJ and it was nothing compared to the TJ off-road. The JK's are respectible as well but let down by the weak V6 engine.

All this being said, there will always be room in my driveway for a clean CJ-7. For topless posing though, not off-roading.
