Sad to say, but in countries where your life depends on the ability of your 4x4, they're not driving Jeeps. From what I've seen the Land Cruiser, Nissan Patrol, and Mitsubishi Montero/Pajero are the vehicles of choice in the Outback, Africa, etc.
