Seriously, I travel a lot for work and this has never happened before. I'm always aware of where I am and what is around me. I have to be. I double and triple check rental cars and hotel rooms when I leave them. Too much stuff, phone, (wallet, duh) passport, computer, all that stuff. With jet lag you have to be extra diligent. 12 hours to Prague with a plane change in Germany and it's easy to miss something. If I'd actually lost my wallet for good, I'm not even sure who I'd call to cancel the CC's. I think I'll PDF them front and back and email them to myself and keep in a locked portion of my phone and computer, with a backup at home with the wifey. I do that with my Passport.
