sledge is a good start, but if you think clearly about your overall goals, you will realize that you are really trying to go back in time, like an anarchist - ok, green anarchist, anyway

so, to move the car back in time, you would preferentially use a STONE HAMMER

you can use your stone hand chopper to cut a branch off for the handle and remove the bark

ride a horse down to the river to look for stones & pick out a nice big oblong one; then use some rawhide strips (that yer woman has prepared by pulling the deer skin thru her teeth) to bind the stone onto the handle

soak it in water (try THAT with yer fancy iron!) and let dry to tighten it all up
