Mine started out as a completely gutted 912e tub, so I had no problems turning it into the ground pounder it is today. Having said that if it were a longhood of any type (912 included) I wouldn't even consider such a thing. Just hang out on the forum a little longer and you'll soon figure the whole long hood deal at which point you will be thankful you avoided making a huge mistake.
