Well, I have not driven either, but from what I think I know:
1) the RS 2.7 was an MFI goddess with 210 HP while retaining the lightweight early car chassis
2) the 74 2.7 was the (in my opinion) crappy CIS model and was heavier due to the impact bumpers
3) the 74-77 had the funky heat exchangers that made the car run hot
4) seriously, have you ever heard the sound of an MFI at full throttle???
