I have a 318i 1995 sedan with about 270k miles. Engine is running good and suspension is good as well except for my passenger side rear strut mount. I have had to replace 2 rear strut mounts in the past month. After replacing with the new ones and driving on them for a couple of days they crack and start making that banging sound whenever I go over any bumps in the road. Does anybody have any idea what could be the problem? I want to just put heavy duty struts on but I dont want to speand the money on them if thats not going to solf the problem.
