well they are selling S1000RR's like hotcakes, so what do you think the likelihood of an S1000RR "S" model is, something with better forks, shock and CF bits? pretty high I would venture.
and you have the HP2S gathering cobwebs on the dealership floors, with ridiculous price tags. if you want to sell more sport boxers what would you do, invest heavily in more tooling and come out with an equally expensive alternative, or try to recover some of your initial poorly returning investment by making some changes that put the price back in "touch" with perceived value?
