Indeed...however most bikers mix intentions and ability in that particular motorcycle class (either 600 or 1000cc). IMHO a far more sensible choice could be some sort of sport bike with less virtual potential (and therefor more).
Anyway...to me it's rather odd that Motorrad did the latest R1200R DOHC thing and forgot the S variant (HP2S due to absurd price targets a totally different clientele).
