I've been told that Stanford is a tough school to get into, even their football players have to have brains.
That's why it's unusual for them to have a really good team.
That's also why I didn't go there. That and the fact that I didn't have any real athletic ability
and the UC teams are public universities, like UCLA or UC Irvine etc.
USC is a private school.
For some reason we have two different California funded university programs, California state universities and also University of California schools (like University of cal in bezerkely).
My daughter just got accepted to Fresno state (cal state fresno), she still has a few more apps out there so not sure if she'll go there or not but it looks like a strong possibility.
Too bad she's not an illegal alien ........
