I would, too. That E30 M3 was special in that it was meant as a true homologation type car. You don't see that very much, anymore. At least not in any price range mere mortals can afford. The E36 and later M3s were just higher performance production cars.
Before I bought my 930 I also considered an E30 M3. Might have been in Henna Red. Looked great. But it had had track use (half cage, racing seats, racing harness, requisite touring car sponsor window stickers) and 117K miles. The owner was asking around $17 or 18K, IIRC. He dismissed the mileage of the car, saying they were built for long distance racingso mileage wasn't a big deal. Not exactly. DTM races were two short sprints.
