Almost certain both devices are providing DHCP.
Most consumer routers can be accessed via a web browser at 192.168.0.1, 192.168.0.10, 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.10
Check the IP address of another device on the network to verify the range.
Google the model for the default admin/pasword.
