Guys:
Valve gap opens more as (911) engine gets hotter....
Teoretically....if you target .004" at 60 degF..you should be able to find some much lower temp that predicts "zero" lash as being correct.
Just close em up at minus 10 degF ambient ( or whatever)..and forget about those pesky feeler gauges !!
