A buddy at work just took delivery of a Commander sized high-end Kimber Ultra Custom Carry Tactical Special Forces Operator Thunder Ranch Elite Meltdown Satin Stainless Limited Edition something-or-another. It averages several jams of different kinds per box fired. He has called Kimber several times, and all he hears from them is "you need to break it in". He's reluctant to send it back - it took them eight months to get it to him. He's kinda stuck... Meanwhile, my dead stock mil-spec Springfield keeps a-banging' away. I could buy four or five more for what he has into that Kimber. His is prettier, though.
